FORMER LIBRARIAN AT BERNE CALLED BY DEATH AT AGE 69
Berne, Ind. — Miss Dorcas F. Sprunger, 69, one of the founders of the Berne public library and head librarian from 1935 to 1951, died at a Fort Wayne hospital April 18.
A native of Berne she was a daughter of Rev. S. F. Sprunger, former pastor of the First Mennonite Church here. Funeral services were held at the local church, Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander in charge.
