JEAN CAROL SPRINGER

Jean Carol Springer was born Nov. 15, 1951 to Carrol C. and Pauline (Nafziger) Springer and passed away on May 29, 1963 at the age of 11 years, six months and 14 days. She lived her entire life in the community of Hopedale, Ill.

Her death resulted from an extended illness. The last week she was a patient at the Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Surviving besides her parents are two brothers, Randall age 9 and James age 4; one great-grandmother, Mattie Sutter; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon R. Nagziger; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Springer, all of Hopedale, Ill.

Her last testimony was that she wanted to go to heaven. Her membership was at the Hopedale Mennonite Church where funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, with her pastor, Rev. Ivan Kauffman, officiating.
