Esther Sprunger, 87, a member of First Mennonite Church for 60 years, died Sept. 12 at Wayne County Home, Wooster, aft er a long illness. Funeral services were held at Mt. Eaton on Sept. 16, with burial in Salem Mennonite Church Cemetery, Kidron. Among survviing relatives are two missionaries to the Congo; a sister, Agnes Sprunger, retired missionary now living at Swiss Village, Berne, Ind., and a nephew, Vernon Sprunger, serving in the congo. As recipient of the gift of an air fare from Swissair, Vernon visited relatives in the States for several days coincidental with the time of his aunt's death. He returned to Congo Sept. 17. — L. K.
