Aaron S. Spicher, son of Samuel and Martha (Zook) Spicher, was born on April 3, 1896 in Belleville, Pa., and passed away at his home in Kalona, Iowa on March 30, 1971 of a coronary occlusion, aged 74 years, 11 months and 27 days.

Aaron and Cleora lived on a farm in Johnson County until moving to Kalona in 1949. Since that time Aaron has been a painter. They moved into a new cottage at Pleasantview Home in November.

He is survived by his wife and three children; one brother, Jesse, of Belleville; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and George, and one grandchild.

Memorial services were held Apr. 2 at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church of Kalona with Dean Swartzendruber and Robert K. Yoder officiating. — The Family.
