● Funeral services for Anabel E. Sommerfeld, 72, of Hesston, will be held on April 3 at Hesston Mennonite Church, with Paul Friesen and Jacob K. Friesen officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. A homemaker and Hesston College snackbar employee, she died on March 31 at Bethel Home for Aged, Newton. Survivors include her husband, Clarence; two sons, Gordon of rural Newton and Jay of rural Hillsboro; one daughter, Joyce Blosser of Hays; one brother, Howard Beck of rural Halstead; two sisters, Neva Miller and Hazel Yoder, both of Hesston; and six grandchildren.
