Lillian Marie Sommer, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A. W. Sommer of Kidron, O., passed away at the Rocky Glen Sanatorium at McConnelsville on Nov. 24 after a lingering illness. She often suffered pain and discomfort but bore it in Christian fortitude.

She was born Dec. 17, 1926, and accepted Christ as her Savior in her early years. She was baptized and received as a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Kidron, and remained a faithful Christian, looking forward to the work of bringing souls to Christ.

She attended Dalton high school for some time, but had to discontinue on account of ill health. She also attended the daily summer bible school at the Kidron church. She was a good student and well versed in the Bible.

She was a good musician, both vocal and instrumental, and a kind, affectionate daughter. Her sweet smiles and friendly actions won he many friends, and she will be greatly missed by her parents and her Aunt Hulda, with whom a close relationship existed. She is also survived by one sister, Vest, a missionary in Nigeria, West Africa. Her eldest sister, Zena, preceded her last spring and was buried on Easter day.

Funeral services for Lillian were held on thanksgiving day, with services at the home in charge of Rev. A. S. Rosenberger of Dalton, and t the Kidron church in charge of Rev. Allen Bixler, assisted by Rev. Smlz3r of the Hebrew Mission, Cleveland. Burial was made in the Kidron cemetery.
