● Ronald and Elaine Rich and sons Jonathan and Mark of North Newton went to Kokomo, Ind. last week after receiving word of the death of Mrs. Rich’s mother, Mrs. Monroe (Effie) Sommer, age 79. She died on Nov. 24 after suffering a heart attack. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
