Aged Resident of Dalton, Ohio, Is Called by Death.

Dalton, Ohio. — Wayne county's oldest citizen, Mrs. Anna Snavely, passed away at 12:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, January 9, being aged 104 years at the time of her death. Her death came after an illness of ten days, at her home one mile west of Dalton.

Mrs. Snavely is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Snavely at home, and Mrs. Ida Douglas; also nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Born in Lancaster county, Pa., the decased [sic] came to Wayne county at the age of two years, and since her marriage has resided on the farm where she passed away. She remained a member of the Mennonite church, which she joined in her youth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Snavely, in 1900.

Funeral services were held at the Martin Mennonite church, the Rev. I. J. Buchwalter officiating.
