Aged Grandfather Called by Death
West Liberty, Ohio. — Funeral services were conducted at the Oak Grove Mennonite Church Nov. 20 for Joseph Y. Smucker, 84, who farmed near here for many years before his retirement in 1949. He died at the home in West liberty on Nov. 17.
The services were in charge of Nelson Kanagy, his pastor, and Abram Kauffman of Plain City.
Mr. Smucker leaves his wife, the former Tura Kauffman, one son, two daughters, nine grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Earl Miller of Middlebury, Ind.
