Amish Youth Struck And Killed by Auto
Smicksburg, Pa. — An accident near here on Dec. 21 resulted in almost instant death for Neal Smoker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smoker of the Amish settlement.
The youth was sliding down the slope of a snow-covered road on his feet when he was hit from behind by a speeding car. He had observed his 14th birthday the day before.
Funeral services were held on Dec. 24.
