MOTHER OF 2 CHILDREN DIED AT GOSHEN
Goshen, Ind. — Mrs. Helene E. Slagel, 49, widow of Alvin Slagel and mother of two children, died at the Joseph Swartzendruber home near here May 4. Mr. Slagel passed away in 1951.
Funeral services were held May 7 at the College Union building, Goshen College, John Mosemann and Sanford Yoder in charge.
Mrs. Slagel is survived by a daughter Janet Lee, 14, of the home, and Kieth [sic Keith] Miller Slagel, 10, who lives with an aunt at Kalona, Iowa; four sisters and six brothers.
