OLDEST MEMBER OF AMISH COMMUNITY DIED AT AGE 92
Nappanee, Ind. — The oldest member of the Amish church in this vicinity, Mrs. Elizabeth Slabach, passed away Dec. 6 at the home of her son, Andrew Slabach, near Ayr. She was only a few weeks less than 93 years old.
Funeral services were held at both the Amos Borkholder and Henry Yoder homes on Dec. 3. She is survived by 78 descendants, including 56 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
