K.M.B. Missionary Called By Death

REV. P. H. SIEMENS SERVED IN NORTH CAROLINA 31 YEARS

Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services were held at the Zion K. M. B. Church near Dinuba on Jan. 29 for Rev. Peter H. Siemens, 64, retired missionary of the K.M. B. Conference who has served among the Negroes in North Carolina for 31 years. Rev. C. F. Plett officiated, and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Rev. Siemens died Jan. 26 in a Fresno hospital after a long illness.

A native of Russia, he had lived in California since retiring from the mission field. For the past seven months the residence had been in Fresno.

Surviving are his wife, Kathrine; two sons, Paul and Floyd, both of Fresno; one daughter, Mrs. Ferdinand Schramm of Livermore; one sister and four brothers.
