— A life-time resident of the Kalona, Iowa, community, Ben J. Shetler, died suddenly at his home in Kalona on August 24 at the age of 73. He was active in the work of the East Union church and served as chairman of the building committee when the present church building was constructed. He is survived by his wife, Nettie, and an adopted son, Frank Shetler.
