Mrs. Allene Sherman

Mrs. Allene Sherman, 56, of 1001 S. Kansas Ave., died Friday afternoon at Bethel Deaconess Hospital.

She was born Jan. 11, 1914 in Denver, Colo.

She graduated from Great Bend High School and had lived in Newton, Wichita and Halstead since that time.

Mrs. Sherman had been employed at the Halstead Hospital for several years.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Beulah Remp, of Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home. The Rev. Louis Dale of 1st United Presbyterian Church will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Calling time will be Sunday at the funeral home and until service time.
