Seventeen Year Old South Dakota Boy Killed.
Freeman, S. D., Oct. 28. — The sad news came that Mrs. Joe Stucky's brother, Lester Sherard, was hit by a car and killed. The Sherards live near Hurley.
Lester, a 17 year old boy, was picking corn with his father. When driving home on the highway, each one on his wagon, a car came and it looked to Lester like the car would hit the wagon so he jumped down and was hit by the car. — Freeman Courier.
