CHRIST C. SHARP

Christ C. Sharp died very unexpectedly at 2:15 o’clock Sunday afternoon, July 30, at his home east of Belleville, Pa. of a heart attack. Mr. Sharp had been about his regular duties on Saturday and had not complained of any Illness. He attended Amish church services Sunday at the home of John Yoder. Returning home he sat down on the porch, talking normally to the family, when after a few moments he collapsed.

Mr. Sharp was born June 13, 1892, and was aged 58 years, one month and 17 days. He was the son of Jacob and Lydia Kurtz Sharp.

On Feb. 7, 1918, he was married to Lydia Yoder of Reedsville, Pa. He is survived by his wife and six children: Mrs. Jesse K. (Elsie) Yoder, Mrs. Peter (Nancy) Kinsinger, Jacob and Jonathan, all of Belleville, Fannie at home, and Mrs. Joseph (Mattie) Spicher of Cheswald, Del. There are five grandchildren. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Mattie Yoder and Mrs. Nancy Peachey of Belleville.

Funeral services were held at the home of Jonas Spicher east of Belleville at 10 a. m. Wednesday morning in charge of Pre. Daniel King of Reedsville and Pro. Seth Byler of Hartville, Ohio. Burial was made in Locust Grove cemetery.
