WELL-KNOWN AMISH FARMER DIED
Berne, Ind. — Daniel A. Schwartz, 71, well known farmer of the Amish community here, died at Adams County Memorial hospital Dec. 13 aftter [sic] a brief illness. Funeral services were held at the Schwartz home on Dec. 15.
Although a native of this community, he and his family lived in Michigan for a number of years, later returning to a farm here.
He is survived by his nine children and a number of grandchildren.
