MRS. ANNA SCHWARTZ

Mrs. Anna Schwartz was born near Cleveland, Ohio, on August 28, 1875, and passed to her reward on June 14, 1952, at the age of 76 years, nine months and 17 days. She was baptized and received into the Mennonite church by her pastor Rev. J. J. Flickinger.

On October 2, 1896, she was united in marriage to Jacob C. Schwartz. They celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

To this union nine children were born, five sons and four daughters. Three sons, Edmund, Philip, and Albert, one daughter Hulda, and her beloved husband preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing three daughters, Sarah Stucky of Aromas, California, Lena Stucky and Ida Schroeder of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, two sons, Cleo and Delmar of Wiley, Colo., two sisters, Rebeccah Schneider of Wiley, Colo., and Mary Zerger of Monroe, Wash., and one brother, John Schwartz of Monroe, Wash.

Rev. Curt D. Boese, Greensburg, Kansas, officiated at the funeral at Wiley, Colo. in the Brethren church.
