— Friends here have received word of the death of two well-known persons of the Mennonite community at Pretty Prairie, Mrs. Peter H. Graber and the aged Andrew Schwartz, one of the pioneers of that settlement. Mrs. Graber passed away Wednesday night after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held during a severe snowstorm Saturday afternoon. Mr. Schwartz who reached the exceptional age of 94, died Friday, Jan. 12. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon.

— Andreas Schwartz, 94 year old settler at Pretty Prairie, Kansas, was laid to his final resting place there last week. Mr. Schwartz came to America from Russia in 1874, and to Kansas in 1884. He was one of the charter members of the Pretty Prairie Mennonite church.
