SINGER OF TWO CONTINENTS CALLED BY DEATH
The mellow voice of Mme. Ernestine Schumann-Heink, for three generations acclaimed by music lovers was stilled in California Wednesday — halted by death in her seventy-fifth year.
As she had desired, her children and two grandchildren were at the bedside when the contralto slipped from coma into death.
