Mrs. D.Schultz

Mt. Lake, Minn., June 20. — Last Thursday morning Mrs. D. Schultz passed away at her home after an illness lasting for months. Her sickness was especially noted during the last 5 weeks. She reached an age of 81 years and has been a widow for more than 9 years. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the First Mennonite church, the speakers were the Reverends Jac. Stoesz, Is. J. Dick, and N. Hiebert.

Mrs. Susanna Schultz, nee Voth, was born in Russia Apr. 19, 1848. Sickness interfered her attending school. Se [sic] became the wife of Mr. Dav. Schultz on May 23, 1871. After three years they moved to this country, where they spent the winter at Yankton, S. D., after which they moved to Mountain Lake on a farm. later they moved to town. She is survived by six sons and two daughters and friends. She was fortunate in seeing all of her children before she passed away, which was a comfort to her. — Mt. Lake View.
