MRS. AGANETA SCHULTZ

(Mrs.) Aganeta Schulz, nee Andres, of Herbert, Sask., passed away on March 21 after a lengthy illness. She was born to Heinrich and Helena (nee Fehderau) Andres in the Fuerstenland area of southern Russia on July 12 , 1892. As a young child of five and a half years she lost her mother, but the Lord gave her another, Maria Schultz (nee Andres. Her parents decided to come to Canada in 1901, settling first in the vicinity of Winkler, Man. In 1909 they moved to a farmstead south of the town of Herbert.

She was married to Jacob W. Schultz in 1912. They shared their lives and efforts for many years. They farmed until 1952, when they retired to Herbert. Her beloved husband died in September, 1969. The Lord gave her comfort and strength even in the most difficult times. The verse upon which she based her faith was Luke 7: 50.

She is survived by three sons, Henry of Swift Current, Bill of Rush Lake and Peter of Drinkwater, all of Saskatchewan; three daughters, Maria (Mrs. Ervin) Breden of Kelowna, B.C., Helen (Mrs. Bill) Lyding of Salmon Arm, B.C., and Ruth (Mrs. Herb) Ring of Moose Jaw; three brothers and four sisters, as well as 25 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband as well as a son and daughter.
