TRUCK AND CAR COLLIDE
Inman, Kans.— In an accident near Hutchinson recently, a dump truck driven by Johnny Ediger of Inman struck the rear of a car which was attempting to pass on the highway. Ediger had signalled for a left turn. The car turned over and the driver, Lester W. Shuerman of Salina, was thrown out and suffered cuts, bruises and an injured back. der [sic].
Although not believed seriously hurt at first, Mr. Shuerman passed away at Mercy hospital, Hutchinson, on June 16.
The truck was not damaged to any great extent, and Ediger was not hut.
