• Arthur Schroeder, 65, proofroom supervisor for the Wichita Eagle and an employee of that newspaper for the past 40 years, died Sunday in Wichita. The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Resthaven Mortuary. A native of Hillsboro, Mr. Schroeder attended Tabor and Bethel colleges and Friends University in Wichita. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emelia Bartel and Mrs. Anna Unruh, both of North Newton, and two brothers, Pete of Hillsboro and Paul of Los Angeles, Calif.
