Indiana Woman Killed As Car Hits Wagon

Elkhart, Ind. — A traffic accident in the Wakarusa community the evening of Nov. 11 resulted in instant death for Mrs. Herman Schrock, 62.

Mrs. Schrock was driving a tractor and pulling a grain wagon on Beech Road when the wagon was hit from behind by a Bremen motorist. The wagon box was thrown on top of the tractor, hitting Mrs. Schrock. The motorist said he didn't see the outfit because of darkness. Mr. Schrock, who was ahead with a corn picker and wagon, was unhurt.

Mrs. Schrock, the former Pauline Mae Weaver, was a member of the Olive Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted on Sunday afternoon. Surviving in the immediate family besides her husband are a daughter, three sons..
