Amish Bishop Dies At Arthur, Ill.

Arthur, Ill. — Funeral services were held for Noah B. Schrock, 70, bishop of the Northeast Chesterville Amish District. he died May 20, having suffered a stroke of paralysis in May 1958 and another stroke a few weeks before his death.

The funeral services at the Schrock home were widely attended. Services in the large house were conducted by Bishops Neil I. Hershberger of Ohio, William S. Yoder of Iowa and Harry H. Miller of Indiana; in the small house by Bishop</span>s Fred Knepp of Indiana and Ira Nissley of Iowa; and in the barn by Bishops J. Nissley of Indiana and Levi S. Schrock of Iowa.

The large family of survivors includes his second wife, the former Mrs. Emma Hershberger, 10 children, six step-children, grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
