FANNY ELLEN SCHROCK

Fanny Ellen Mullett Schrock was born June 24, 1943, to Milo and Susie (Miller) Mullet of Middlebury, Ind. She gave her heart to the Lord in her youth and was received into the Griner Mennonite Church by water baptism.

She was graduated from Bethany Christian High School in 1963 and from Eastern Mennonite College in 1967.

Fanny Mullet and Elwood Schrock were married on Aug. 9, 1969. For the first 10 months of their married life they lived in Mt. Jackson, Va. and taught school. In June of 1970 they moved to a little farm near Exeland, Wis., where they have resided since. Fanny taught in the Ladysmith Headstart Program, 1970-71.

Fanny lovingly filled her place well in the home, the church, and the community as the pastor's wife.

In looking forward to the coming of their first child, Fanny mentioned several times that in case something would happen to her, she would like her brother, Vernon and his wife to care for the little one. While Elwood was holding her hand as the little daughter was born, Fanny suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Oct. 25, 1972.

She is survived by her husband, Elwood; infant daughter, Ranene Sue; her parents, Milo and Susie Mullet; two brothers, Vernon and Gerald; and one sister, Edna Mullet.

Funeral services were held at the McElravy-Geier Funeral Home, Ladysmith, Wis. and interment at the Exeland Cemetery on Oct. 28, 1972, with Bishop Floyd Kauffman of Minot, N. D. officiating.
