MRS. DANIEL O. SCHROCK

Mrs. Eldora Grace Schrock, wife of Daniel Ora Schrock, north of Garden City, Mo., passed away in the Memorial Hospital, Harrisonville, on Feb. 21, 1962, at the age of 70 years and 11 months.

Her funeral was held in the Sycamore Mennonite church northwest of Garden City Feb. 24, Rev Leonard Garber and Rev. Ben Stuart officiating. Three hymns were sung by Dale Hershberger, David Schrock, James Schrock and Richard Schrock. Burial was made in the Clearfork cemetery.

Mrs. Schrock, a daughter of Elhanan and Naoma Emma (Hostetler) Byler, was born near Garden City, Mo. on March 8, 1891. On Dec. 24, 1909, she was united in marriage with Daniel Ora Schrock.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Schrock is survived by seven sons: Clifford of Washington, Ill., Leonard of Lafour, Mo., Daniel of Eaton Rapids, Mich., Eldon of Lexington, Ill., Maurice of Pontiac, Ill., Coburn and John of Garden City, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Chester (Bernice) Yoder of Creighton, Mo., Mrs. Ralph (Zana) Smith of Henry, Ill., and Mrs. Eli (Rosalie) Gingerich of Goshen, Ind.

There are also 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Geiger of Topeka, Kansas, and Mrs. Florence Reed of Garden City, Kansas; and three brothers, Leonard Byler of Dodge City, Kansas, Henry Byler of Wilmette, Ill., and Ross Byler of Liberty, Kansas. Preceding her in death were two brothers and four grandchildren.

At an early age Mrs. Schrock became a Christian and united with the Mennonite church, remaining a faithful follower of Christ and loyal to her church.
