— Word was received at Halstead of the death of Henry R. Schowalter, 53, in Los Angeles, Calif. He died unexpectedly at his home May 3, and funeral services were held at the Little Church of the Flowers. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schowalter of Halstead and was baptized in the First Mennonite Church there by Rev. J. E. Amstutz. He leaves his wife, the former Myrtle Webb, of Los Angeles.
