● Funeral services for Elizabeth G. Schowalter, 87, of Halstead, were held on March 30 at First Mennonite Church, Halstead, with John Gaeddert officiating. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery. A lifelong Halstead resident and former Hertzler Clinic receptionist, she died on March 25 at Halstead Hospital. There are no immediate survivors.
