• Mrs. Clarence Schneider, 59, died at her rural Moundridge home early Friday, March 28, after an extended illness. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Meridian Church, with ministers Milferd Wenger and Paul Wenger officiating. Mrs. Schneider, the former Gladys Wiggers, leaves her husband and daughters Clara Belle and Gladine of the home; a son, Lavern, of Hesston; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Wiggers of Hesston; five brothers, and two sisters serving on the mission field in Nigeria. As a memorial, the family suggested donations for multiple sclerosis research.
