Funeral services for Clara Schmutz were scheduled for June 1 at the First Mennonite Church, Newton, with Albert Epp in charge. She died May 29 at the Bethel Home for the Aged at the age of 95. She had been a bookkeeper for the Santa Fe Railway for over 30 years and lived all her life in the Halstead and Newton area.
