She was born at Whitewater March 30, 1890, and had been employed for many years at the Midland Mutual Fire Insurance company here. She leaves her mother, Mrs. J. J. Schmidt, two sisters, Mrs. Dreier and Mrs. Arthur Schmidt of rural Newton; and several nephews and nieces.
