AGED DEER CREEK RESIDENT FOUND DEAD, KNEELING IN PRAYER
Deer Creek, Okla. — Funeral services were held here on March 26 for the 89 year old Peter Schmidt, a well known resident of this community for many years.
Mr. Schmidt was found dead in his home, kneeling at his bedside (evidently in prayer), his head resting on the bed covers.
It was thought he had passed away a number of hours before his death was discovered.
