— Mrs. Martha (Wedel) Schmidt of Greenburg [sic Greensburg], who was a patient at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital since May 4, died here early last Friday evening. The body was taken to Greensburg for funeral services at the Mennonite church there, after which burial took place at Dundee, Kansas. Mrs. Schmidt reached the age of 65 years, having been born at Pawnee Rock on November 24, 1878. Besides her husband, Fred D. Schmidt, seven children and one brother and sister survive.
