— Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl church for Miss Margaretha Schmidt, 71, who died March 20 at Winfield, Kan. Rev. P. A. Wedel officiated. Miss Schmidt, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob E. Schmidt, leaves one sister, Mrs. P. J. Rempel of Goessel, and a number of nephews and nieces.
