— A large funeral took place at the Alexanderwohl church at Goessel last Sunday for Harold Schmidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Schmidt, who died at the Axtell Christian Hospital on July 15. The lad had suffered from cancer of the liver, for which an operation proved of no avail. Ministers serving at the funeral were Rev. P. H. Unruh, Rev. Logan martin of Newton, Rev. J. J. Banman, and Rev. C. C. Wedel.
