— Funeral services were held at the Gnadenau church near Hillsboro Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Fred Schmidt, 84, pioneer Marion county resident who passed away at the Mission Home in Hillsboro on June 30. Mrs. C. R. Wohlgemuth of Newton is one of the eight surviving children.
