● Funeral services for Christian H. Schmidt, 95, of Goessel, were held Dec. 21 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel. A farmer, he died Dec. 17 at Bethesda Home for the Aged, Goessel. Survivors include two sisters — Rose Schmidt of Hesston and Mary Harms of Newton.
