— Rev. C. H. van der Smissen of the Bethel Home for Aged has recttnly received the death notice of Dr. Adolf Schlatter, professor of Theology at Thuebingen [sic Tübingen] University in Germany. Dr. Schlatter was a close friend of Rev. van der Smissen and was well known by several Mennonite teachers in Kansas and Indian. Dr. Schlatter was 86 years old. He died on May 19.
