ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING FATAL TO YOUNG BOY AT SUGAR CREEK, OHIO
Sugar Creek, Ohio. — This community was shocked to hear that Melvin C. Schlabach, 17 year old son of mr. and Mrs. C. O. Schabach [sic Schlabach], died as result of gunshot wound Satruday afternoon, Nov. 18.
the gun which the youth was carrying accidentally discharged itself into his abdomen when he placed it on the ground.
Melvin lived about one hour after the accident.
