• Peter Schierling, 83, retired farmer of Burrton, died Sunday evening at the Halstead Hospital after a three-day illness. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of the Buhler Mortuary with Rev. William Neufeld, pastor of the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church, officiating. Mr. Schierling's wife Elizabeth died in1924. Surviving are three sons, three brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren.
