Winkler, Man. — A disastrous fire raged through the large Tripe [sic Triple] E Motor Homes plant here the morning of March 29 and claimed the life of the general manager, Henry Schellenberg.
The fire, which reportedly started in the motor home division, was discovered about 6:25 a.m. The Winkler volunteer firemen arrived promptly but could only contain the flames in the multi-sectioned building. Loss was estimated at over $1 million.
The firm employed 90 persons in producing travel trailers and motor homes.
