In February, 1888, she was married to Christian Schantz and they had resided in the Tiskilwa, Ill., vicinity, until the last few years when she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Schryer of Lima, Ohio, at whose home she died November 14, 1946. She was 80 years, 5 months of age.

The remains were brought to Tiskilwa, where the funeral service was held at the Tiskilwa Mennonite church on Nov. 17 with the pastor, Rev. L. R. Amstutz, in charge. She had been a faithful member of the Mennonite church since her childhood.
