— Funeral services for Valentine Schaad, who was killed in a tornado which struck the community of Noble, Iowa, September 21, were held at the Noble Mennonite church Friday afternoon, September 25. Rev. A. H. Miller, pastor of the church was in charge. A short service was held at the home of Joseph Conrad where Mrs. Schaad, who also was injured very seriously in the storm, is slowly recovering. The property loss caused by the storm is estimated at many thousands of dollars.
