MRS. MARIE SAWATZKY

Mrs. Marie Holzrichter Sawatzky was born in the village, Kleefeld, South Russia in the year 1879. She died Dec. 30, 1958 at the age of 79 years and five days. She had resided in the Barnum Convalescent home in Fairview, Okla. for two years.

She was the oldest and the last of 17 children in the family.

She was married to Isaac Fast of Deer Creek, Okla. on March 15, 1920, by Rev. John Lichti. Isaac Fast passed away on April 19, 1925.

May 19, 1926, she married Jacob Sawatzky, who also preceded her in death on August 20, 1932.

For many years she lived in Medford, Okla. She worked hard in her younger years, always willing to do for and help others, and also served for relief of those in need.

She desired to be baptized by immersion as Jesus was. She was baptized July 27, 1958, by A. A. Penner and was affiliated with the Church of God, Fairview.
