MRS. MARTHA SAUDER

Martha (Nofziger) Sauder, daughter of the late C. G. and Rebecca (Stutzman) Nofziger, was born May 8, 1888, at Stuttgart, Arkansas, departed this life April 13, 1958, at the Lebanon, Oregon Community Hospital after an illness of a heart condition. When about 13 years of age she moved with her parents to Nampa, Idaho, and in 1909 they moved to Albany, Oregon.

In her youth she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and united with the Mennonite Church. She was an active member of the Fairview Mennonite Church and remained faithful unto death.

On Nov. 14, 1936, she united in marriage to Jacob Sauder and they made their home in Pettisville, Ohio. Her husband preceded her in death in August 1951. Two years later she moved to Lebanon, Oregan [sic Oregon], where she resided until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Libby; three brothers, Elmer, Dan and Louie.

She is survived by one step-son, Harry Sauder, and three step-grandchildren, all of Wauseon, Ohio; one sister, Emma Gerig of Lebanon; four brothers, Samuel and Elvin of Albany, Oregon, Ernest of Torrence, Calif. and Victor of Tangent, Oregon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held April 16 at the Fairview Church in charge of N. M. Birky, N. A. Lind, and Henry Gerig. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery at Albany.
