— Word was received that Jonah Ruth, now of Los Angeles, Calif., but formerly of Newton, Kansas, passed away suddenly on Monday of this week. The deceased is the son of J. E. Ruth, formerly in the milling business in Newton, and well known for his musical talents. He now lives with his daughter Mrs. W. J. Krehbiel in McPherson. Because of weakness from age he is unable to make the trip to Los Angeles to attend the funeral.
