text of obituary:

PAUL F. RUSKE

Paul F. Ruske was born Oct. 2, 1873, in Germany and departed this life, March 7, 1963, having attained the age of 89 years, five months and five days.

His father passed away when he was still young. Paul was an only child. He was saved as an adult through the ministry of the Church of the Open Door of Los Angeles. After salvation, he attended the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. These were the early days of the school. He was not an ordained minister but could expound the Bible very ably. He gathered and wrote the material for a book, but this was never published.

His trade was that of a chiropractor. He was a wonderful doctor and helped many people.

He was married late in life to Katherine Fast and together they entered the Reedley M. B. Home for the Aged on Jan. 17, 1946. Mrs. Ruske died on Jan. 6,1954. He had lived at the Reedley Rest Home longer than any living resident.

He leaves no known relatives. His friends in the Lord look forward to meeting him in heaven some day.

Graveside services were held at the Reedley Cemetery on March 11, with Rev. Henry L. Janzen, Asst. to the pastor of the Reedley Mennonite Brethren church, officiating.
